Last night I was playing with a friend split screen co-op, offline, but I was still getting invites from online clan-mates. So this got me thinking can we play split screen with 2 people (same PS3) and a 3rd person via the internet? Or is the online co-op only for online players only and the 2 types of co-op can't be mixed?

Hmm good question I think its just for online people because when you do the split screen, your both under one name online but it would be nice to do split screen online that way you would get twice the kills but then again you would get twice the deaths.
